OpenMoko: Open Source Mobile Devices

The free and open source book (out of date for now as of 18 May 2008), The OpenMoko and Neo 1973 Desktop Survival Guide (ISBN TBD) introduces the Neo 1973 mobile telephone and its user interface using OpenMoko. The book, which is undergoing regular updates, simply explains all aspects of using this open source portable device. The book is being written by Dr Graham Williams, author of the Debian GNU/Linux Desktop Survival Guide and the Data Mining Desktop Survival Guide. An electronic PDF version, which presents the same material but formatted as a single book, may be available is available for a small fee from Togaware ($40AUD/$35USD) to help cover costs and ongoing development:<-->
